A little hypothetical situation here.

Say Powell Valley loses two more games this season (Gate City and let's just say Clintwood steps up and beats them).

That would make them 5-5 and sitting at home come the middle of November.

Would the powers that be in BSG try to force Robbins out? If they did go 5-5, Robbins would have guided (in his words) one of the most talented teams he has ever had to a .500 season.

Would a 12-8 over two regular seasons be enough to send Phil to the doghouse?

And for him to say that this may be the most talented team his ever had is the dumbest thing he's ever said. And that's saying alot. I've also heard direct quotes from people that have heard him say that the Pinkstons will be better than the Jones. That comment doesn't even merrit a responce.

The Pinkstons are good running backs, but I would go with Delmas Lawson. I don't understand why he doesn't run the ball more. Talent wise, the Jones are the best backs from PV IMO.

Too much was expected of them in preseason. I think if PV loses another game in regular season it will be to Gate City. But I think the favorite at this point to represent Region D in Division 2 has to be Haysi right now. I think the same four D2 teams in the playoffs this year should make it again. I think PV, Honaker and GC will fight for the #2 seed.
